On January 27, 2017, hundreds of thousands of people -- young and old -- will once again come together in a peaceful manner to affirm the sanctity of life and protest the 1973 Roe-v-Wade Supreme Court decision that allowed abortion to be legal in all 50 states.
This is why one group of youth from our parish will attend the March this year. For those adults who wish to attend and do not have a ride yet, here is a list of buses, recommended by the Archdiocese of Newark, that still have available seating:
· Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Ridgewood 201-444-2000
· St. Leo Church, Irvington -- Christian Nunes, Bus Captain 917-364-7315
· St. Elizabeth's, Wyckoff 201-891-1122
· Knights of Columbus, Upper Montclair -- John Marrin, Bus Captain 973-932-0717
· Immaculate Heart of Mary, Scotch Plains 908-889-2100
· Cranford Knights of Columbus 908-276-6189
The Archdiocese of Newark encourages you to meet them on the NW corner of NW 15th Street and Constitution Ave. (Washington D.C.), at 12pm. All will gather, then proceed to the March.
Please, pray for the success of this March and for life. If you are not able to attend the March, you may watch or listen to it on EWTN.
